BackMate for Utes
Constructed from heavy duty aluminium, this ute tray is built to take the punishment. Backmate is designed and manufactured right here in New Zealand, by qualified Transport Engineers that know what Kiwis expect from their utes.
Load restraints, lash down rings, heavy-duty plywood deck, nylon hinges, rugged H-rack… they know what kinds of load you’ll carry, and they’ve engineered it accordingly. And it looks great too, with an option to powder coat.
All components are bolted together, there is no welding required. Plus, all parts are easily replaced and are readily available.

BackMate for Trucks
This unit has everything you’ll need to operate as a mobile workshop. Your BackMate truck deck is lightweight and built to work as hard as you do.

- Workbox – 3mm aluminium -1200mm long x 2200mm wide x 1400mm high, containing 2 x full width aluminium shelves with anti-slip rubber mats
- Robinson aluminium slat roller doors + interior warning light when roller doors open
- Tipping deck – 5mm aluminium - 3200mm long x 2200mm wide x 350mm high with body support prop
- Fold down 350mm side boards & tail gate, 3mm aluminium with removable aluminium carrier rack which can be stored in workbox
- Electric Harsh under body hoist rated at 2.0 tonne lift capability
